What
makes Farmweld
products different?
Notched
Joins
- We take a little extra time to notch the
joins on most products in our range.
- A notched join typically has four main welds
all
around the pipe. A squashed pipe will usually just have
two either side of the flat areas.
- Squashed pipe will split, weakening the steel
considerably.
- Notched joins distribute loads more widely and
evenly within the
structure making them stronger than squashed joins.
- Cleaner looking and smoother joins means that
there
is less chance of
animals catching on
protrusions.
Mesh
Inserts
- We
insert the mesh ‘inside’
the frame (pictured right) rather than just over the front of the
frame,
so there
are no sharp edges to cut you or your stock.
- Mesh inserts are
securely welded, not just tacked, so impact
from livestock will not result in the mesh unzipping from the
frame.
