What makes Farmweld products different?

Notched Joins

We take a little extra time to notch the joins on most products in our range.
A notched join typically has four main welds all around the pipe. A squashed pipe will usually just have two either side of the flat areas.
Squashed pipe will split, weakening the steel considerably.
Notched joins distribute loads more widely and evenly within the structure making them stronger than squashed joins.
Cleaner looking and smoother joins means that there is less chance of animals catching on protrusions.

Mesh Inserts

We insert the mesh ‘inside’ the frame (pictured right) rather than just over the front of the frame, so there are no sharp edges to cut you or your stock.
Mesh inserts are securely welded, not just tacked, so impact from livestock will not result in the mesh unzipping from the frame.
