Wrought iron garden gates, Braidwood NSW

Custom wrought iron gates with leaf barrier, Braidwood NSW

The gates Farmweld designed and constructed for us are beautiful.  Everyone who visits comments on their beauty and old world charm. They’ll look even lovelier once the roses grow up the other side. The attention to detail in the construction of the gates contributes to this old world charm.

We were highly impressed with the design service.  Everything was possible.  Nothing was a bother. We found Farmweld to be highly professional and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

Railway gates, Riverland, South Australia

This large 16' or 4.8m long heritage style railway gate suits both contemporary and older style homes.

I just wanted to send this quick email to say a huge thankyou for all your patience and help with me in deciding on our railway gates. They fit perfectly and the kids love opening and shutting them each day. They are also successfully keeping the dog in as well. I am sending through some photos of the gates with this email too.

Please find attached a picture of the gate that you made for us, we are both very happy with the end result, it really complements the picket fence.

We have had a lot of people comment on how nice it looks. Thankyou for your help and professional service.

Maddison heritage style country gate with mesh

Farmweld understood exactly what we wanted and came up with this design that needed no alteration.  The gate and panels are really well made and look fantastic at the start of our drive. We have received many positive comments from friends and neighbours.  We recommend Farmweld to anyone who wants to have gates or panels made for a special area around their home or farm.

Contemporary dairy farm gate, NSW

Contemporary Farm Gate

Living in the country we always seemed to “make do”, take “what’s available” be asked “why would we want that”, be told “you live in an old house” “you’re off the main road no-one will see it”. I wanted to know why couldn’t we have something special, something pretty.

On our dairy farm we often put cattle in the paddock surrounding the  house yard, and as I like other country women work off farm I was forever getting in and out of the car to open and shut the gate. Our front gate was old and rusted and needed

Estate country gates, Arcadia NSW

A big thank you for the wonderful Estate gates – the big gate has made such a difference to the front of the property (as you can see from the picture) and has attracted several admiring comments, and the three smaller gates go perfectly with the Australian Colonial style of the house. It was easy to fix the rabbit mesh using the additional bars you provided, and this works really well, providing

Wrought iron side gate & fence panels, Strathalbyn SA

Wrought iron steel gates made by Adelaide Blacksmith Andrew Hood, add a touch of elegance to the side entrance of this Adelaide hills house.

We wanted to go locally. We wanted someone who could “translate” and meld both my and my wife’s ideas together and come up with a gate and fence we both liked. We also wanted a gate and fence that would last and fit in with our older style home.

Farmweld did all that in a very exemplary way . Based on our ideas Trish/Andrew provided us with

Maddison entrance gate

Maddison heritage style country entrance gate

When my wife and I decided that we wanted a more impressive entrance way to our property, we scoured the internet and other media for a good-looking, quality, yet reasonably-priced gate.  We visited factories and outlets, and examined websites over many months but nothing met our criteria.  We then found  an advertisement for Farmweld gates and their product appeared to fit the bill – attractiveness and affordability.  And it has proven to be the case.  We are delighted with

Heritage wrought iron estate gates

Wrought iron country estate gates needn't be expensive. Sometimes simple wrought iron designs are better than something over complicated.

What do you do when you need a formal entrance to a property with Australian Colonial architecture but it needs to work with French Provincial interior decorating … go wrought iron of course. The wrought iron entrance gate to this NSW property was made keeping in mind both styles and the owner couldn’t be happier.

The Brief: The house on this property was built in 1898 but it has been renovated with a French Provincial interior. The house is
