How do
I place an order?
Please contact us to let us know what you want.
We will then work out the exact price and any freight and your order
will need to be confirmed with a deposit.
How long are quotes valid for?
Due to the rapidly fluctuating prices of
steel, quotes are
only valid for a period of 21 days. For the same reason price lists
are a general guide only and prices will need to be
confirmed when you place an order.
What sort of deposit do you
require on
orders?
We require a minimum 50% deposit to confirm orders. This covers
material costs and secures the quoted price. The balance is then
payable prior to despatch or on
collection (if picking up).
What
is your general turnaround time from when I place an order?
Our turnaround
times will vary depending on how busy we are, however we
generally take
about 4-6 weeks to put out your order from when it's confirmed with
your deposit. Larger orders such as stock yards take longer to
make. If there is a delay for any reason we will be in touch.
Do you accept credit cards?
No, we don't accept credit cards. Payments can be made by electronic
bank transfer, cheque or money order. Goods are released when funds
clear our account.
Do
you have agents or distributors?
No we don't. Because we custom make all our products and generally most
of our products are custom made to fit, we find that it's best to deal
direct with our clients. It also means that we can communicate directly
with you, give you more choices such as a wider colour range, and
ensure that you're getting exactly what you want. By not
having a middle man we are also able to
keep our prices reasonable.
How will my
gates be delivered to me?
Powder coated gates are packaged in at least two layers of bubble
wrap to
protect the powder
coating, and are generally
delivered to your door using TNT Road Express. If the local carrier
doesn't have a van long enough or your area is remote the gate
will
be delivered to your nearest depot ready for you to collect. To avoid a
redelivery cost we give the couriers instructions to leave the item at
your property, so please inform us of the best place to leave the
package if you're not there to accept delivery.
Do you ship your products to states other
than South Australia?
We ship our products all around Australia using either TNT Road Express
or
for larger consignments another freight carrier. If you have a
preferred
carrier that is local to you please let us know. Products shipped with
TNT will automatically have insurance added.
How much do I
pay for delivery?
We usually just charge for actual delivery, insurance and
packaging materials (if required). Charges are based on the dimension
of the item and the destination. However, the heritage style country
gates
have a set amount factored into the price to cover the packaging and a
reasonable proportion of the freight.
Consequently any additional
freight charges are fairly minimal. For example delivery of a 12' gate
to the ACT, Brisbane, Regional Victoria and Perth is $50.
